SAFETY CRITICAL APPROVAL - 2 December 2009
MCE Engineering are proud to announce that they are now approved to provide safety critical parts for their existing customer Bombardier Transportation Services.
MCE passed the supplier evaluation and approval process with no non conformances.
This stringent audit assures our supplier that MCE will provide a quality assured product compliant with UK Railway Legislations.
MD MEETS HRH THE PRINCESS ROYAL - 1 December 2009
Kevin McLean, our Managing Director, was invited to Harper Adams University College by personal invitation when HRH the Princess Royal officially opened the West Midlands Regional Food Academy on 1 December 2009.
MCE designed and supplied a cheese vat, peg mill and cheese press for the new academy.
Kevin said "I was honoured to attend the event and I feel very proud that MCE Engineering were selected to design and commission the cheese making equipment for the food academy at Harper Adams."
Kevin outlined the new equipment, which MCE manufactured for the unit, to the Princess during her tour of the academy.
NEW MACHINE FACILITY OPENS - 9 November 2009
We are delighted to announce the opening of our new in-house Precision Machining Facility.
We can now offer CNC Milling and Turning to complement our existing services. (Website update to follow)
MCE awarded SAFEcontractor approval on 7 January 2009.
Our high standards of Health and Safety practises have now been recognised by the SAFEcontractor accreditation scheme.
Our decision to be actively involved in the scheme highlights the importance we, as a company, place on the safety of our employees, customers, fellow contractors and the members of public.
MCE achieves ISO 9001 : 2008 accreditation with BSI on 27 March 2009.
